I Used The Wrong Colour !!

In this video I utilize some Meranti to make a segmented vase with an epoxy top. I definitely believe a brighter colour would have looked better on this, It mixes in a bit too much.

  3. This piece is lovely! I don’t think this is the wrong colour; it complements the Meranti wood nicely. The dark colour resin gives a good contrast, showing off the angular segments.

  8. Beautiful, these sort of builds are my absolute favourites, start off with the cut angled blocks and the way they show up after the oil/varnish is added is just sublime. Keep them coming please Sir

  9. I like the step pattern at the top. As you might recall, I am a big fan of bright colors, but there’s a place for sublety, too. Someone is going to absolutely love this! I think it’s another project that you could make ten different times and create ten different pieces of art.

  11. I liked what you did and it came out all right. I went back in the video and it appeared that you poured several colors of epoxy but instead of multiple colors they mixed together as just mainly black.

  12. Nice touch with the slow-motion; I see youโ€™ve taken to heart how much everyone loves seeing the epoxy being worked!
