Woodworkers Secrets Revealed – Click Here to Discover the #1 Woodworking Resource!
Cool piece, but cutting that slab up like that just had me cringing.
I could use some suggestions on better ways!
@MakeSomething I think they’re more concerned it wasn’t left as one giant unmanageable rotten cookie.
“I don’t have feelings for future Picciuto.” 😂
That turned out really cool. Looks like a stack of speakers almost. Only thing I was a huge fan of was the screws. I’d probably have just glued the front on.
have to admit I was waiting for “you can layer it… like your mom”
That lamp is awesome! Love the translucent maple veneer back feature!
I love the intellectual-stumble you take us on when you build.
16:20 Wait, turn that lamp around again! The back looks sweet too!!
Another interesting object created by the artist.
Very cool project, that wood finish pure gorgeousness !
Respectfully and with humor. You made a walnut poop emjoi lamp!
hehehe! I did!
Woodworkers love walnut, hundreds of tiny pieces of walnut and putting mahoosive slabs of walnut into a planer when you don’t get hit in the crotch. And Dave Picciuto 😍 “I don’t really have feelings for future Picciuto” 😁
Wonderful piece, Dave! Really fantastic work!!! 😮
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Very impressive, not just in the results, but also your approach to the piece.
WOW…..just WOW! This is one of your coolest makes. Love it!!!
I’m converting a room in my house into a library. I’m planning on making a custom door with stained glass in it. The eufyMake would be an awesome option to be able to make different “stained glass” panels that I could swap out over time.
That printer is dope
This one slaps!
Back when we had our uv printer, I had a client that wanted his company logo (which had a lot of empty space in the logo) printed on wood for his office door but wasn’t sure what type of wood. I ended up just printing his logo on a transparency sheet and laid that transparency over a few different species I thought worked well for him to pick: white oak, cherry, and walnut. I ended up with one or two layers of white under the logo to make sure the colors popped, but the transparency also allowed me to line up the logo with the grain flow of the wood. Pretty cool little project.
So freakin’ cool!
Cool project! But you need a Jimmy sized disc sander someday. 🙂
