Woodturning – This Piece Has The Coolest Growth Rings !!

In this video I turn a natural edge form from a piece of Yew. Like normal, I just went with the wood and ended up with what you could call the trumpet design I finished it with Danish oil

  5. Stunningly beautiful. This piece really emphasises the Yew and its growth rings and the addition of the danish oil just really brings out the depth of colour. To think that this tree stood for many years and will now stand for many years to come as a masterpiece to be viewed. Great work as always Andy

  6. That a lovely piece. The grain is very interesting especially with the 3 tones of wood and the streaks of black.
