I started with just steel, wood, and an idea– then built a working wooden TOG II Tank for my child.
In this video, I constructed a wooden TOG II Tank for my kid– a challenging task that combines woodworking, metal fabrication, electric power, and a daddy's love.

The entire construct started with a strong steel chassis, carefully bonded to support the weight and structure of the tank. After that, I created and installed the track system, wheels, and motion system to make the tank efficient in driving.

To power this wood tank, I utilized 4 electrical motors, producing four rotating drive shafts that assist the tank move with strength and stability. This was one of the most difficult parts of the project, requiring cautious alignment, testing, and adjustment.

When the mechanical system was working, I started building the wood body around the steel frame. Piece by piece, the shape of the TOG II Tank slowly appeared– from the long body and turret to the in-depth wooden panels and final complements.

This project took a great deal of time, perseverance, and hard work, but seeing my child's joy made every moment worth it. For me, this is more than simply a wood tank. It is a special gift, constructed with my own hands, from a daddy to his son.
