Woodturning – Plywood Offcuts

Here's another piece for the unusual sphere collection!! I removed some old cupboards from my van which were made from Birch ply, so instead of just throw it out I thought I would make something. I wasn't really sure how this would end up however believed it would be interesting with all the different layers from the ply. I'm not exactly sure what took place to the resin as it seemed to alter from a good lavender colour to a rather dull grey!! however overall I was happy how it turned out.

  5. When I started watching I was looking at the lengths of ply and thinking, how is he going to make this one go?
