construct the standing workstation:.

I needed to use this standing desk/workstation in a new studio place for some art I'm , but required to diminish it down. Because it's based upon my Standard Mobile Workbench design, it was easy to customize. I thought you might like to see that procedure.

  1. Nice project Steve! I’m fixing to make a rolling table for my planer and that design looks perfect. Thanks for another great video!! Great to see you back!
    Thanks Again!!!!

  2. Many patrons, and they are all well deserved. We appreciate and will watch everything you produce, even if it’s fumbling around for 7 minutes.

  3. Really interesting indeed! It’s a great idea, Steve! 😊
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

  4. Your mobile workbench is the cornerstone of my little shop and you got me back in the woodworking after two decades out.

Would love to see more of your awesome project videos

  5. I’ve got 3 BMW’s in my tiny (12’x15′) shop. Two are platforms for tools (miter saw, band saw, drill press). Working on making a modified version of your shop stool now! Thanks for the great ideas!

  6. When you started reassembly you could rotate the end frames so one of the verticals is laying on the floor and they would be more stable for holding the horizontal piece in position. You could even use a small clamp to hold the horizontal to the other horizontal, put the screws in from the end, then go on with it.
For that matter you could have removed only one of the end frames, shorten the horizontals on that end, put the end frame back on.

  7. I made 2 BMW’s for my woodworking. One is in the garage and the other for outside work where I need more space. Both work wonderfully and are sturdy. Even added a foldup router table to one end.

  8. Glad to see your face on my feed this morning. Miss having you on the regular schedule. Hope all is well with ya.
