I really love this one. I can imagine it on a windowsill and the light shining through and the shadows looking different everytime you look at it.
Beautiful work.
Thank you, I’m glad you liked how it turned out! ๐
At the beginning, I couldn’t figure out how this would trigger a trypophobe. Then, you started drilling the holes and I thought, “yep, that’ll do it!”
Ah, Friday in Andy’s shop. Thanks for having me.
Always a pleasure!
I don’t think this idea is going to hold any water. (Thank you! I’m here all week!)
๐
When you brought out the Dremel, I thought you were mad. Then you started sanding and proved me right!
Fantastic piece as always.

I love it! It looks like some kind of seed pod.
Had to google. Learned something today along with enjoying your work. Thanks.
Stunning work โฆ I love this ๐
Absolutely lovely Andy!
Anyone else get goosebumps the moment the pattern started appearing? That was strangely satisfying and creepy all at once. ๐ฌ
That went from โOh no..โ to โOh my!โ In record time. Love it.
You never cease to amaze me with your creativity and talent. While it had a nice pattern before, especially for oak, the holes just ramped it up a few levels. Very nice finish on it as well.
