  9. Spalted – containing blackish irregular lines as a result of fungal decay, and sometimes used to produce a decorative surface. Andy, this is an absolutely beautiful piece. Thank you for consistently demonstrating quality craftsmanship!!

  13. Your title could have been โ€œTransforming a random piece of firewood into something beautiful!โ€. I love the unique wood grain pattern as well as the natural wood burning design on the sides. Leaving the rough edge really suited this piece too. Itโ€™s another addition to the Tulip collection for sure lol!
