Perfect way to start the day, or at least, make me start to feel better. Got 10 minutes’ sleep all night, so guess what I was doing when the notification dropped about 6:45?
I already know it’s going to be a work of art, so thank you!
Thanks .. glad you like it
Ah, an Andy special – unpromising lump of random wood that turns into a beautifully patterned natural edge bowl of extraordinary shape. From some angles as it turned it looked like a butterfly with open wings
Get out of town. !!! Holy Happy Hell ….. There are no words !!!!!!!!πβ€οΈππππ. π. π. π. Thanks again π
Beautiful. Well done
And this is why I stay up late – got to see what beautiful things Andy makes! π Thanks for sharing!
Sensational, Andy!!! Love all the spalting. Love love love this turning. Another Andy special. πππ
I may have said this before Andy, but you never cease to amaze me! I’m sure you have been doing this for years, but I still find it remarkable how you can work on a piece of wood spinning at the speed it does and produce a beautiful work of art! That sir, is why you are a Master Woodturner!! Stunning as always!!
Very much appreciate the time and effort thatβs involved with making the videos, to say nothing about the skill to make such a beautiful bowl. Thank for a enjoyable evening.
amazing and beautiful, as usual! β€οΈ
Minha admiração ao Andy e a natureza que sΓ³ faz coisas lindas ππππβ₯οΈ
Color, texture, grace, and that beautiful natural edge have become for me, your trademark talent. Thank you for sharing it with us, your faithful viewers. You never disappoint.
Spalted – containing blackish irregular lines as a result of fungal decay, and sometimes used to produce a decorative surface. Andy, this is an absolutely beautiful piece. Thank you for consistently demonstrating quality craftsmanship!!
All of your creations are masterful, Andy, but the ones you fashion from a single piece of natural wood — such as this excellent example — are my favorites.
Beautiful, really like the spalting
I really like this piece. The Spalted Ash woodgrain reminds me of a vintage map. It has character. β€οΈπ
I like the grain of that wood it’s interesting very nice Bowl
This is beautiful, I love the finished shape .. great work Andy ππΌ
Your title could have been βTransforming a random piece of firewood into something beautiful!β. I love the unique wood grain pattern as well as the natural wood burning design on the sides. Leaving the rough edge really suited this piece too. Itβs another addition to the Tulip collection for sure lol!
Amazing, Andy! Really fantastic work! π
What a crazy looking wood! Really beautiful!
Stay safe there with your family! ππ
Love the shape. The grain is spectacular and the natural edge is the crowning touch. Thank you for sharing this amazing work.
I would love to see one of your orbs, with the blue accent, nestled inside one of your bowls. Perhaps a two piece assembly? As usual, you are amazing!
