Walnut from Kencraft:
See more from this series where we are making all the furnishings for this home
I'm taking on the difficulty of hand crafting every furniture piece for my house, beginning with a pair of incredibly contemporary floating nightstands for the bed room. I look into the total procedure, from selecting products like a sheet of plywood and stunning walnut for edge banding, to conquering stability concerns and employing numerous woodworking strategies. I demonstrate cutting, gluing, and utilizing a router for exact joinery, along with integrating a French cleat system for wall mounting. Throughout the job, I share useful tips and tricks, such as developing tidy cuts in plywood and utilizing clamps effectively. The video also covers my design procedure and how I draw inspiration for my tasks. In the end, I hope this video makes you wish to attempt making your own nightstands, much like mine or with your own innovative touch!

Beautiful design, David! Great adaptation to your original design!
Awesome to see how you problem solved this floating nightstand. It would be interesting to see, knowing the end result now, how you would do all the joinery and glue ups if you were to make one again.
Simply a great looking project. Love this channel.

Nice job David, love how you matched the grain, sweet.
I am a huge fan of mid-century modern so I am super glad you are doing this series. I look forward to all the episodes and furniture designs you come up with. What a great idea you had, I think it will be a big success. Maybe I’ll be able to stay in that house after it is finished.
Are you enjoying the creation process more? If so, it’s really coming across in your videos!
Love the nightstands they look great. Nice job David.
Stunning work, Dave! Amazing looking nightstands! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Love the front drawer (draw) pulls! Yes miter+fence+through cut =bad. I’d hate to have it go through my TV, ahem, I mean window too 😂
I really like the handle design, it brings it all together.
These turned out great. Love floating furniture. Definitely the best one night stand I’ve ever seen lol. Also whale nuts haha! Keep up the good stuff!

Love your channel! Been a fan for many years. Do you think that someday we can get a video about your sliding wall panel system in the back?
I am really glad to hear that you are still liking the crosscut sled extension you made. It looks so awesome.
