Here's a naturel edge vessel turned from a Yew Log and ended up with Danish oil. Only a slight wobble on start up. This log had been sealed and kept for a number of years and the colour was incredible, regrettably it wasn't the exact same colour the whole way through. Still cool though.

Very nice! Love the edge!♥️
Thank you!
I think the fact that it wasn’t a uniform colour makes it more interesting ❤
What’s not to love about this piece! The shape, the colour, the grain, the details in the wood and the live edge… Wonderful craftsmanship! This is why I watch. Yew da man, Andy! 😉😄
Thank you so much!
That is GORGEOUS!
Glad you like it

Thank you very much! 👍
As soon as I click on the video.
@AndyPhillipWoodturning Andy, someone copied but should have written “yew IS my sunshine” yet got a ❤ but I did not and I was wondering if my comment got shadow banned. It happens a lot when one is subversive…and on other channels it happens to me quite often.
Then, I saw the comment from Jodidavis and I thought you were disappointed because I didn’t “like”👍 the video. I never do. My watch history is off too. I try to avoid the hell loop every which way and fight the algorithm that I call the king of demagoguery… On the other hand, I do subscribe to all channels I consider worthy so somehow I do fall in the trap although I have my ways out… Cheers.
Proper wobbly at the start! Another gorgeous piece
