In this video I show the turning of my newest globe, made from an Oak Burl and Epoxy resin, its not 100% accurate as usual but I think its my coolest one yet, I contoured and coloured the sea bed on this one and utilized a more clear epoxy for the ocean's.

the grain is incredible…. imagine doing earth, jupiter neptune, venus as ball tops for the posts of a 4 poster bed and the rising sun incorporated into the headboard and the cresent moon in the footboard… and yes, that is the best looking earth Ive seen you do …

Very nice! I like the how the grain of the wood gives contour to the land masses, and the translucent epoxy gives a lot of depth to the oceans. Wonderful piece of art!
