In this video I make Goblet from a piece of Burr Elm and carved a knot into the stem. Probably not the very best choice of wood for something like this however after a little bit of resin deal with some concealed divides, it just about held together. I completed it with a gloss spray lacquer.

WOW. Truly stunning. The vision and creativity and skill shown here is unreal. To see that in a block before starting work. This craftsman artist has more skill in his fingernail than I have in my entire body. If I ever have any luck on lotto I will be buying some of these pieces. Otherwise I’ll just have to keep watching his amazing channel.
