This is a piece of Willow (I Believe) which unfortunately had great deals of splits all over, so rather than burn it I decided to sculpt the split locations and see what I might make of it.

That’s really neat, Andy. When I first saw the drill I thought you were going to stitch the cracks with something like copper wire. Your idea is much better.
