Woodturning – An Unknown Crotch Log !!

In this video I turn an unidentified crotch log, which didn't smell extremely nice at all while turning it. As normal I didn't have much of a strategy to begin with however believed the was rather bland so added a bit of colour and texturing to the inside, it ended up a lot cooler than I believed it would.
If anybody's got any idea what the is let me know in the comments.

  1. It’s a very pale coloured wood and I was wondering if it was perhaps Willow as that has a bad smell when split. I like the finished piece though.

  10. Andy, Really nice no super cool. My wife and I were questioning the blue interior but you never cease to surprise us. We loved what did and gave me some ideas for a few multiple crouch’s that I have. Nice job my friend.
