In this woodturning video I turn an unidentified crotch log, which didn't smell extremely nice at all while turning it. As normal I didn't have much of a strategy to begin with however believed the wood was rather bland so added a bit of colour and texturing to the inside, it ended up a lot cooler than I believed it would.
If anybody's got any idea what the wood is let me know in the comments.

Itβs a very pale coloured wood and I was wondering if it was perhaps Willow as that has a bad smell when split. I like the finished piece though.

Hi Andy. I enjoy watching the turn of your odd pieces. (i.e. turning the air/the negative spaces with this Elder) It’s beautiful, with its fine detail work. It’s really nice.
