  1. Andy, this may not have been what you planned but it turned out absolutely beautiful! ❤❤❤❤

  2. Man I always wondered what it was like to turn a pine cone, adding it to the list of things I need to try.😅

  3. Wow, what a gorgeous piece of work! You may have run out of resin in the beginning but it turned out beautifully! Anyone would love to have that piece showcased in their home. Thank you, beautiful job!

  4. Small and perfectly formed, what a fantastic looking piece … I’ve seen a few pieces with pine cones and they produce a fascinating pattern which varies depending on how much they are cut … superb 👍

  5. That is stunning! It’s like you’ve got a pot pourri in the resin. The colours are incredible! Just goes to show what you can do with experience, expertise and an amazing imagination. I would _love_ to own that, and I don’t like ornaments! You, sir, are the Da Vinci of wood turning – and yes, I mean it.

  6. I’m always amazed by the size of the pieces you make. When you first start working on them, they look like they will be huge. Then, you put your hand on them and I see that they’re really small — absolutely no reflection on the craftsmanship and beauty of each piece. I’m just surprised, that’s all! This one turned out to be quite lovely. I live in the part of Texas that’s known for its enormous pine trees. Here, pine cones are a nuisance to most people. This is a stunning use of what we consider trash!

  7. Stunning! The colors are amazing and I absolutely LOVE the size and shape. Can you show more videos when you are pouring the resin?

  8. Haha! It gets me everytime! I think you’re working on a good size piece and then I see this giant hand come into frame. Beautiful work, as always!

  10. I absolutely love this…the colours, the form, the way the cones show through the resin! Beautiful!

  11. I really don’t know how you know where you’re at when you’re hollowing something that shape. Fantastic as always ❤

  12. Another brilliant piece of work as always. I would have been fascinated to see what it would have looked like had you left the other cones on.

  13. The colors and pattern are amazing! Some parts appear to be painted with gold! Simply beautiful!

  14. Dude those pine cones turned out amazing. They look like small sunbursts in the resin. Totally cool. You got serious skills bro.

  15. That’s a GREAT piece Andy. What depth and I like the “soft top”. A nice easy roll over into the vase! !! !!!

  16. Stunning piece, Andy! Truly amazing work!!! 😃
