In this video I make use of some offcut's and short end leftovers to make a bowl from a board. I utilized Purple Heart, Ash, Wenge, Black Palm, Yew and poplar, all pretty cool lumbers however they didn't half wreck my brand new bandsaw blade!!

Beautiful and amazing! I love the contrast in colors. I remember the square edged bowl you did like this last year. These are easily my favorite of your projects! I’m saving up so maybe I’ll be able to afford one someday.❤
Yes, over 3 years ago now … Thanks
Love the shape of this piece, well done sir.
Cheers
Ooo the oiling was extremely satisfying! I loved seeing how this project came together, apart, and back together again! Another museum worthy piece! 🤎
Thank you
Not even 6am but I had to watch it. I knew it would be something special when I saw the beautiful colours of the offcuts, but I couldn’t imagine just how stunning it would become! Absolutely glorious!
Thank you!
I watch these videos and I always find myself wishing I had paid more attention to woodworking in high school (in our first year, everyone did shop which meant woodworking, metal work and plastics).
Ah well, such is life.
Absolutely mesmerizing, best sculptor on YouTube!
Thanks!
A truly fun and beautiful piece, very much sixties design.
I think its really one of your better ones.
You need to have the right tools, but it came out so fluently as a design, material use and tool use. To me a real masterpiece!
Thank you
absolutely stunning I don’t know how you can imagine such beautiful projects from a few bits of wood ❤
Thanks!
The purple heart has such depth of grain! It changes with the angle of view! I love it
😮…just Beautiful 😍. I love the use of many different wood types, and the pattern is almost trance like. You definitely had me confused as to what you were doing in the beginning, but was fascinating to see you bring it to life. Keep up the great work mate ❤
2:58 Cutting the rings with a series of equally placed peg holes was genius!
Now that is just plain cool Andy. Thank you for sharing.
The vison to know what it’ll eventually look like when you start cutting and glueing! Brilliant
You never cease to amaze me with the projects you come up with. You can take something that doesn’t look like much and turn it into beautiful pieces of art. Absolutely awesome bro 👍.
Fantastic piece. This may well be my favorite piece of your work. Love the colors working together.
Beautiful! One of my top pet peeves when it comes to wood turning is the amount of wood that got wasted during the process. This type of work though makes up for many of the other kind…
Wow, never expected it to be so nice.
Great, another reason to save scraps.
Looks like you were paying attention in geometry class. Beautiful work!
Very nicely done once again Andy. Thanks for the inspiration. Stay safe.
