In this woodturning video I turn a gnarly burl from an Ash tree into a natural edge type. It was rather a difficult turn with all the additions and the shape was formed in a way to keep the majority of it undamaged. Definitely one of my preferred burl turnings.

Hi Andy! This burl is really cool and amazing 👍. Best regards from Hans and Cheers 🍻🇦🇹.
Very cool, I love turning stuff that your not sure will blow up! Nice work Andy
Gorgeous burl! And your decision to epoxy a tenon on to the blank probably made all the difference in the way this bowl turned out. I’m always happy to see a bowl like this without it being cast in epoxy.
That’s amazing, Andy. Not just the beauty of the wood but also the skill it took to not blow it apart while turning.

Bowl or sculpture? Bit of both really – it’s beautiful!
That is truly stunning. Great Job Andy
One of the most amazing pieces I have ever seen. Nature in all its glory, undiminished by removal of “undesirable” material.
