In this woodturning video, I turn a natural edge vessel from a piece of Birch Burl. I didn't expect the piece to end up like it did, it was way more intriguing than I believed it would be, I regrettably needed to lose the bark as there were some chunks missing which resulted in a lot more sanding. I completed it with Danish oil.

Anyone else would have either used a lot of resin or had multiple pieces of wood lying on their shop floor. But your skill and a little bravery made the risk pay off. That is a beautiful piece that celebrates the Birch wood. ππ
