About the Show//.
David Picciuto, understood for his YouTube channel Make Something, provides his very first solo exhibition, UNSUBSCRIBE. The program features wall work and mixed-media sculpture that mark a purposeful departure from the material that developed his audience of nearly one million subscribers. No algorithms. No pattern chasing. Just the work.
Artist Declaration//.
I've invested 12 years making things for an audience. Furniture and things developed to perform, intended to get the click. Someone once told me I don't make art, I make decoration. That struck a nerve. UNSUBSCRIBE is my response. These pieces weren't made for a pattern or an algorithm. They were made due to the fact that the ideas wouldn't leave me alone. I waited 50 years to find out if I might do this. This is my first show. ~ David Picciuto.

You have the dream, drive, ability and creativity. It’s not even a question.
The evolution of this channel has been so amazing to watch over the years! Well done man super inspirational!
To quote 30 Rock: “It’s never too late for now”
i am so happy for you and wish you luck on your show! i really hate that someone sent that message to your comment section, but its great you were able to turn it into valuable information from its mean-spirited intent. i think truly creative people are rarely that cruel, and when people who lack the will or the wherewithal to be creative, they focus that unspent energy into cruelty. i have experienced this myself, and its takes a lot of personal grit and reflection and confidence to extract the useful information from cruelty and discard the rest. anyway, i think your show will be great and i cant wait to see how it goes!
I will not be able to make it to your show, but as a long time subscriber, I’m super excited for you that you’re having it. Really like your message here. I consider myself a musician even though I’m the world’s okayest saxophone player. The world needs more artists. You should be one. Also, shout out to Jefferson on the outstanding editing lately. This one in particular moves right along at the perfect pace. Thanks for sharing!
there is not a shortage of artists, there is a surplus of low self-esteem
I can’t believe this channel doesn’t have a million subscribers. The creativity in this one channel is enormous! Good luck for the show!!

Have you ever had a burrito? Just unroll it and you’ve had a taco.
I’m proud of you. I’ve been following your channel for a looong time and it’s been fun watching your journey. Your show is going to be great!!
Don’t let small people define you by their limitations.
I don’t care what you make or call yourself, I’ll always come back for your passion
Artistic angst, I don’t have it but I know when I see it. Interesting video, I enjoyed it.
AND HAPPY BIRTHSAY.
I wish I could make “decor” as good as you.
“Dr. Seuss. Not a doctor.” 😂😂😂❤❤❤
One of the most likeable dudes on YouTube , Good luck Dave with everything I am very sure it will be amazing , sending positive vibes from Ireland. “Proof that art isn’t what you use — it’s what you create.”
Way back, when I started having guitar lessons with the great Austin Mortimer, on our second lesson, after learning just two chords, he would say “Right, you’re musicians now, don’t let anyone tell you different”
