There was a little burl on this Birch branch and instead of simply turning a small bowl, I thought it would look cooler to have the bowl extending through the branch.

And once again, when for the last few videos i was becoming so comfortable, this one appears. This piece is so weirdly engaging, the pot looks as if it’s just penetrating through the platter surrounding it & is what makes it look so beautiful & the grain of course. Fantastic!
