You can purchase webcam clamps, naturally, however nothing beats the fulfillment of making your own – that is what we DIY guys do, right? I made these in an afternoon from scrap hardwood and they work perfectly. What's more is that they look terrific also – something you can be proud of.

Love your videos, finally got a notification for one after all these years
Ever creative… great video!
Good thing to know about the splines!
Thanks Kyle π
I love your approach to woodworking. Must be so rewarding to walk into a shop full of tools you made.
Thanks David! Having a shop full of tools you made yourself is like being in a well-knit family where you know everyone intimately – all of their quirks and the things they are best at. I wouldn’t have it any other way π
@@JohnHeiszit does suit you well John. Precision and simplicity. Those cam clamps are wee art snapshots for us who love your stealth fully clever mind. Itβs good to see you exploring new aspects of your art of woodworking.
Really well done, John! And they turned out beautiful! π
Stay safe there with your family! ππ
John ending humanity, one cut at a time.
I saw you take the cams OUTSIDE for painting, and I thought this was gonna be a safe video. Then you totally redeemed yourself by routing your dowels the way you did! Great little project!
Nice work John! ππ
Always a pleasure to see your methods. Thanks for a satisfying video.
Peter! My dude! Thanks!
Every video you make gives me ideas. Even if I donβt build the project, some part or step of the process lends inspiration. Thank you.
A classic Heisz project and video. Thanks for sharing.
Been watching your videos for many years. I love when you use most of, if not all your shop built machines to do a project. This one did not let down.
The spline reinforcements are genius!
Nice work John!
Thanks Jack, and nice seeing you!
Lovely to watch (again), such well explained, well filmed, handy project video!
Super. Thanks for sharing.
2:05 was meant to trigger the safety schizos. Nice work sir!
7:19 “Hold my beer.”
Another fantastic video from the best creator/maker on Youtube! There is such a wonderful pace and feel of your video presentations that is magical to watch, not to mention the fantastic projects which always inspire! Never get tired of your work, thanks John!
Great work John. At first it looked way past my ability but when you broke it down to it’s individual steps, it actually showed it was basic wood working that looked fancy. The Devil is in the details.
Thanks John
