I really love this one. I can imagine it on a windowsill and the light shining through and the shadows looking different everytime you look at it.
Beautiful work.
Thank you, I’m glad you liked how it turned out! 👍
At the beginning, I couldn’t figure out how this would trigger a trypophobe. Then, you started drilling the holes and I thought, “yep, that’ll do it!”
Ah, Friday in Andy’s shop. Thanks for having me.
Always a pleasure!
I don’t think this idea is going to hold any water. (Thank you! I’m here all week!)
😂
When you brought out the Dremel, I thought you were mad. Then you started sanding and proved me right!
Fantastic piece as always.
😂 thanks
I guess I have trypophilia, because I love pieces like this. Great job ❤

I love it! It looks like some kind of seed pod.
Had to google. Learned something today along with enjoying your work. Thanks.
Stunning work … I love this 😊
Absolutely lovely Andy!
Anyone else get goosebumps the moment the pattern started appearing? That was strangely satisfying and creepy all at once. 😬
That went from “Oh no..” to “Oh my!” In record time. Love it.
You never cease to amaze me with your creativity and talent. While it had a nice pattern before, especially for oak, the holes just ramped it up a few levels. Very nice finish on it as well.
