  1. I saw a video of someone encasing a banana and it did last longer. So theoretically it will still rot away, just gonna take a lot longer. Probably gonna stink eventually.

  2. You are truly a very interesting individual. But I like the idea…. R. Phoenix would make a great coffee table, after his passing…. And he would embody the River tables that were so popular recently.

  3. Well, I think it would be like encasing most things that were living like flowers. You need to dry them out first. 😁

  4. everyone: xmas is coming! steve: halloween runs from Oct to Jan. Also I’d be asking @BensWorx this question, he has deep knowledge in the ‘will it preserve in epoxy’ domain

  5. Evan and Katelyn have been trying to preserve a pumpkin in epoxy for years without much success. Perhaps by the time You need this they have perfected the method!

  6. Maybe you could have your family timelapse your head gradually decaying in the resin and upload it to the channel as the last hurrah. I’m sure that would be very family-friendly!

  7. This is a thing it’s called plastination. Look up Gunther von Hagens….

I think he did it to an elephant too…

  8. And @Peter Brown just posted a video about how some pizza he encased in epoxy looks after one year. Based on that, maybe not a good idea 🙂

  9. I think you should clarify that AFTER you are through using your head THEN you want it preserved in epoxy… You’d think that would be obvious, but you never know people these days.

  10. Actually, it would work but you must first do some special prep. Expose the head to a high-level radiation source to kill ALL bacteria both internally and externally. While maintaining the head in a sterile environment place it in a sterilized mold and then cover/immerse with sterilized epoxy resin and allow to harden. Being bacteria free and shielded from ultraviolet light the organic components will experience extremely little to no deterioration.

Let me know how it turns out. ;^)

  11. Steve you are a nut! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. Great idea though. You could preserve yourself as a Statue of Liberty Steve.

  12. If this dude would say “I’ve only tried it once” I would totally believe it, he has that face 😀

  13. You ask that question, and the reply is I’ve only tried it once,… That sounds like some mid evil stuff Steve !! Lol. You are to funny
