In this woodturning video, I turn a piece of a large Birch burl which had some insane bark on it, into a natural edge form. Liking the video effect at 3min 36sec where it looks like I'm getting sucked into a vortex!!

My favorite before bed channel
Puts me in the perfect place for good sleep
Glad I can help! 👍
What a amazing camera angle at 3:35 😮😊
The Vortex !!
Have to say isn’t wood just incredible, or at least the plant that grew it. The truth is that it takes you Andy to show us that incredible beauty & make a really lovely object as well! ThANKS again, Pete in New Zealand 😉
Thanks so much !!
3:10-4:25 were some of the trippiest shots I’ve seen on the entire channel. Great shots and beautiful piece!
Thanks.. Like being sucked into a vortex
Absolutely gorgeous ❤❤❤
Thanks 👍
Another one for the books, very interesting piece 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Thanks Tom
Once again so beautiful!
When you were treating the bark it gave Shady Acres Woodshop’s vibes. I love good ol’ Phil Anderson.
That one sped up shot when you’re working on the inside looked like a low budget sci-fi portal lol
3:40 Lol, you’re right, the TARDIS was trying to bring you onboard 😂 💙
Aside from the piece, which I really like, I think your workshop looks great! I know for myself how nice it is to have enough space to keep everything organized.
Beautiful 😊
Such a great angle on the piece 👍💪✌
I agree Andy , the vortex is really cool , as is this piece .. it’s an art to not overdo something , this is perfect imho..👍🏼
Excellent ANDY !
Привет из Калининграда! Спасибо за видео!!! Класс!!! 👍👍👍
Your natural edge pieces are my favorite! This one is another beauty! Just gorgeous, Andy!
You always make such fascinating pieces. The live-edge ones are always great; they really show off your skill, especially when there’s no safety net by using resin to hold the wood together. You end up with a piece of art while inexperienced woodturners end up with kindling on their shop floors. 😉😊
