A long time ago, my Grandfather made similar designs but did it all with laminate inlays. He would have loved this machine.

That’s awesome! I like the change to the red lettering. It makes it pop a little more.
I have a hack for drilling in glass. Use a flat bottom diamond bit and drill through the glass in a container of water. There doesn’t need to be too much water, just enough to absorb the heat and shock. The diamond bits are made for drilling holes and wells in stone, which is also really fun and uses the same method.
Now you can batch out a whole bunch of weird lions-on-wood art!
