i wish you would have left all the texture. I’m trying to keep real trees now and go backwards. Finesse polish gaudy bold king stuff rich topped and treasured with ancient natural textures. Barks, rough cuts, edges, etc. Or straight lines like bismuth. I realize Jesus was a carpenter and not of iron at all and beam. Wood is so forgiving and plyable, playable almost because the conditions of it’s state are flexible upon moisture, heat etc. Wood is like a fibrous clay starch potato resource of construction. But to work as a Blacksmith. Less forgiving and though less forgiving you can still heat it, mold it, press it and do wayyyy more than wood. The blacksmith is the devil then? Of mortality.
