  1. Hi. Table base looks nice but table top looks bad. Please don’t use dovetails to hide the bad wood. Use nice big size wood.

    1. The base is great the top don’t work in my opinion was so many ways you could have shown off skills in the top and the skill set you have

  2. Dovetails with same kind of wood as the tabletop (Redwood?) would have been more nice. Thanks for sharing.

    1. The dovetails have to be the same color as standard wood putty, because there will be lots of gaps that need to be filled in. Cutting the holes precisely enough to leave no visible gaps would be incredibly time consuming and wasteful and would not look good for Youtube.

  3. The live edge aesthetic was invented by sawmills as a way for them to sell low-quality boards that they would otherwise scrap.
