Genius, not ugly
I like the design of these. I could definitely see them being good nesting tables, especially while watching Dogma!
Nesting tables are a bit IKEA, but very functional. I was thinking, leave it as one piece, and make the spaces between the sides of the two tables bigger (wider?), so that it could hold some records or magazines?

Looks okay. I’m sure someone thinks it is beautiful and some think it looks ugly. Most of the stuff you make isn’t my style, but I always enjoy your problem solving. That helps me more than the actual details of any of your projects.

Looks Scandinavian, but in a really good way. Also, for some reason, it is really reminding me of furniture that they would have at Seattle Children’s Theater. Just like oddly functional and slightly over designed, but in a really smart way.
I like them for like a bedside table with with different tiers of functionality. Top could be for a lamp, and the lower could be for charging stuff with cables going in the back and coming out on the lower tier for example.
Like a lot of things on this channel, I can’t picture these tables in my house but that doesn’t matter. I enjoy the creative process, the stream of consciousness problem solving and learning new techniques that I keep in my pocket later. As usually, it’s a successful experiment.
They could be very practical, put a lamp on top and your book, tablet, etc on the lower one. It’s great it’s mobile. A sofa or console table in this style would also be cool.

It reminds me of a 1970 Daytona 500 Super Bird rear end with the wing. It is interesting. It somewhat reminds me of the furniture of Simon Watts and his early 80’s book “Building a House Full of Furniture”

At first look I thought it was going to flip down to create an extended side table. Good idea for keeping them separate, because with my luck my cell phone would fall between the two. Cool design!
I dig it. I like having multiple uses for stuff. Also, you really can’t have enough clamps.
