  2. I dont know about your country but in mine they used toxic chemicals to protect that wood, and using that railroad wood is dangerous (at least in my country). Did it smell wierd while planing?

  3. I like the design of the table but the holes take away from the look. This is a heavy thing to move. It has a lot of curves and style. Your connection of the top with the splines is solid. Good work.😊😊😊

  4. Those are not railway sleepers. Sleepers or cross ties in the US don’t have that many holes throughout the timber. Those timber also are not treated with a wood preserver like Creosote. Looks more like the wood from a an old wooden ship. But if they are off of a railroad hey could be from buildings like a freight house or depot. Bridge timber’s are also treated with creosote.
