Welcome back to a massive brand-new job on the Woodworking Art channel! ✨ Today, we are starting the journey of carving a true WWII legend– the German amphibious vehicle, the VW Type 166 Schwimmwagen.
Since of its distinct boat-like hull and exceptionally detailed mechanical information, I've decided to divide this construct into a multi-part series so you can enjoy the pure, uncut ASMR craftsmanship without hurrying. In this Part 1, view how a strong block of wood is measured, cut, and sculpted into the renowned water resistant chassis of this "swimming vehicle."
⚠ PART 2 IS COMING SOON! The last assembly (wheels, seats, steering, windscreen, the iconic rear water propeller) and the last polish will remain in the next video. The amphibious beast is taking shape!
Make sure to SUBSCRIBE and strike the bell icon so you don't miss out on the final work of art!
